Who runs this site
Day Counting (daycounting.com) is operated by Anderson Gomes Ferreira. contato@daycounting.com
How it works
Dates are handled as calendar days, with no time of day and no time zone, so daylight saving time cannot change a result. Each page states how it counts (for example, that the start day counts and the end day does not).
Holiday lists are copied from the publisher’s own page, with the day we opened it. Events whose date moves (Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter) are calculated from the rule, and the rule is shown on the page.
The tools run in your browser. The dates you type are not sent to our servers.
Where the data and rules come from
- OPM: Federal holidays — US federal holidays, 2026 and 2027
- GOV.UK: UK bank holidays — England and Wales, 2026 and 2027
- 5 U.S.C. 6103: Holidays — Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day
- 36 U.S.C. 109: Father’s Day
- Royal Observatory of Belgium: Easter algorithm
- NOAA NCEI: Meteorological versus astronomical seasons
How we keep the content up to date
Every holiday list and rule shows its source and the date it was checked. Lists are reviewed when the publisher releases a new year.
What this site is not
Holiday lists exist only for 2026 and 2027 and only for the sets named on the page; outside them the tool warns you instead of counting zero. For payroll, contracts, court deadlines or visas, confirm the count with the official calendar of your employer, court or agency.
